After seeing state nail and string art popping up on Pinterest last fall, I was sure it would be one of my Christmas DIY presents. Unfortunately, Princemas preparations took up my November and December crafting mojo. 
But when this wedding save-the-date came in the mail, I was inspired to make a Texas version for the bride and groom.
This past month I had the pleasure of being the Day-of Coordinator for two weddings. The only rough part was that they took place the same weekend. I was reminded that I’m not as young and spry as I used to be, but I had a lot of fun and learned a ton.
After a busy month of two weddings, work travel, and SXSW, I’m finally back to blogging. Yay! Don’t you just hate it when the real world takes away your time in the virtual world?! 🙂
Back to jewelry-making! I bookmarked this Craftster tutorial on how to make a library stack necklace a while ago and finally had the time to get back to crafting. Plus it gave me a chance to go shopping at Salvation Army for supplies and other goodies. Continue reading
Fluffernutters—such a funny name for a food item, although I kept calling them flutternutters.
For the big game last Sunday, I thought I would bring this popular New England sandwich in support of the Patriots (Wikipedia said it had been proposed as the official Massachusetts state sandwich). But C-Man forgot to tell me that we were supporting the NY Giants. Whoops! Good thing, supporters from both teams seemed to enjoy them. 🙂
