Just kidding, my posts on house projects are coming soon, but first, I wanted to highlight a wedding I DOCed a couple Sundays ago. The theme was vintage garden party with peaches, pinks, and neutrals for the colors. It took place at the beautiful Umlauf Sculpture Garden on an unusually cold October Sunday. Here are the lovely newlyweds:
Things were all running a little late the day-of, but everything turned out quite nicely. Rena and Dan were so happy to be married and just went with the flow of it all.
I worked with Rena over four months through three meetings, a final walk-through, and the rehearsal to get the details ironed out. This included discussing ideas, going through to-dos, drafting the schedule/vendor contacts/assignments, and organizing the rehearsal. She was an easygoing bride and completed her assignments so it made things go a lot smoother. On the day-of, I set up the decorations/favors/photobooth, managed the timeline, and took care of minor issues that popped up. It was a whirlwind of a day, but here are some of the lovely highlights:
I also made the bride and groom signs and reserved tents with my handy, dandy Cricut. For the hundredth time, I LOVE my Cricut! 🙂
All-in-all, another wonderful, love-filled wedding. Now on to a lifetime of happiness for Rena and Dan!
